Proverbs 8:32-36 NKJV
[32] “Now therefore, listen to me, my children,
For blessed are those who keep my ways.
[33] Hear instruction and be wise,
And do not disdain it.
[34] Blessed is the man who listens to me,
Watching daily at my gates,
Waiting at the posts of my doors.
[35] For whoever finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the LORD;
[36] But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul;
All those who hate me love death.”

Good Morning!

It seems that mankind is always trying to find the meaning of life, where they came from and where they are going. The space programs around the world spend billions of dollars on telescopes, rovers and space probes exploring other planets and galaxies. I am one who personally loves science and space has always peaked my interest, but when it comes to finding the meaning of life, God’s Word tells us plainly that whoever finds God, finds life and with a bonus — He gives us favor!

For centuries, people have tried to figure out the meaning of life and so many fail and will continue to fail. While so many others that believe in our Savior, have found the abundant life with God’s favor. Satan loves when we get distracted by the lies that he has given us of evolution and the need to find the origin of life somewhere out in the galaxy. But God’s word clearly tells us where life began. There was only one “Big Bang” and that happened in Genesis 1:1 when God created the heavens and the earth.

John 10:10 NKJV
[10] The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Genesis 1:1 NKJV
[1] In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Let’s remember that the enemy of our souls would love to fool us into denying the ONLY Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. He created all and gives life to all. He continues to keep the planets in rotation. He continues to hold the earth in His hands. He continues to give us the very breath in our lungs. When we seek other answers to life, we are denying His Lordship over all.

Jude 1:4 NKJV
[4] For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy warns us that people will not listen to the sound doctrine of God’s word and with itchy ears will seek the lies of the devil. That is a very self-destructive path to follow. We are called to be different and not be easily fooled by false doctrines. When we listen and obey the truth of God’s word, we not only find favor with God, but we inherit eternal life that is abundant in God’s love, mercy, grace and peace.

2 Timothy 4:3-5 NKJV
[3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; [4] and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. [5] But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

John 17:3 NKJV
[3] And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Let us not be easily fooled by the false doctrines. There can ONLY be ONE truth and His name is Jesus.

John 14:6 NKJV
[6] Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

I love you and am praying for you today!
