Proverbs 23:17-18 NKJV
[17] Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day; [18] For surely there is a hereafter, And your hope will not be cut off.

Good Morning!

As sons and daughters of the Most High God, we have the privilege of having a personal relationship with Him through the grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Through His sacrifice, we are able to approach the throne of grace to ask the Lord for help in our times of need. We were created as His crown jewel of all of creation so that He may dwell among us and so that we may have fellowship with Him. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He dwells within us as a living temple of the Holy Spirit.

God wants our hearts to be zealous for Him — with hearts on fire, passionate, devoted and committed to wholeheartedly serving Him with an eagerness to please Him and walk in the ways of righteousness. He knows we are not perfect and that we will all mess up as we are humans with a sinful nature. But He forgives us when we turn away from our sins and approach the throne of grace with sincerity, confessing our sins with an earnest heart that wants to follow the plan that He has for our lives.

Let us all choose to seek the Lord with all of our hearts wanting more and more of Him every day in our lives and less and less of our sinful nature. Let Him lead us as we yield to the Holy Spirit relying on Him to guide us through the snares of this life. With fervency and love for our Lord, let us humble ourselves before Him and let Him fill our lives with His joy that would be contagious to all of those around us.

With the hope of what is to come, we can walk through this life with expectancy of a glorious eternity in His presence continually and forever. That is something to get excited and zealous about!

I love you and am praying for you today!

2 Corinthians 6:16-18 NKJV
[16] And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” [17] Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” [18] “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.”

Hebrews 4:16 NKJV

Galatians 4:6-7 NKJV
[6] And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” [7] Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Titus 2:11-14 NKJV
[11] For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, [12] teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, [13] looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, [14] who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

Psalm 27:8 NKJV
[8] When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”
