Jeremiah 29:11-13 NLT
[11] For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. [12] In those days when you pray, I will listen. [13] If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
Good Morning!
There are a lot of things that life throws at us. Every day has its troubles, worries and challenges, yet when we put our trust and faith in The Lord, He will not let us be shaken. He leads us to still waters as it says in Psalm 23. God cares for us so much. He never wants us to hurt or be sad and we sometimes wonder why He allows trials in our lives. We need to rest in Him and know that whatever God allows, there is a purpose for it.
Life must be lived forward, but it is only understood backwards. When we look back on our lives, we can see all of the things that happened and begin to understand why God allowed certain things to happen in order to bring us closer to Him or help us to grow spiritually. Think back on your own life today and how God has moved and used you to reach other people or help you to grow closer to Him. It is in remembrance of these times that strengthens our faith even more and lets your heart say, “I will not be shaken.”
I’ve heard the example that if you look at a tapestry, like the ones hanging in The Vatican, from the front it looks like a beautiful work of art, but if you were to look at the back of it, you will see a mess of threads woven all over the place. Our lives can be looked at in the same way. There are “threads” that are woven all over the place but God has a plan of order and when He is finished with us, we will be His work of art.
Be blessed today and don’t be shaken by anything that happens. God has a plan and a purpose for your life – plans for good and to give you a future of hope.
