Romans 12:2 NKJV
[2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Good Morning!
Our God wants us to do more than lip service. He wants our whole person. It is easy to say the right words and go through the motions of being a Christ Follower but God wants more. He wants our mind and hearts to truly be transformed into a place that is submissive to His will. When we hear this, we all think, “Submissive! What?”

Being submissive to God is not taking on a burden. It actually is lightening our burdens of this life. Jesus told us that His “yoke is easy and burdens are light.” That means that He is with us through this journey of life and as we submit ourselves to Him, He in turn carries us through our struggles. It pleases Him to help us. He enjoys blessing His children. He enjoys our fellowship. That is why He made us. He didn’t want to create little robots that just say yes, yes yes. He gave us free will to decide for ourselves that we will honor and praise Him. And when we do, he it is His joy to give us joy, peace, mercy, grace, love and blessings like no other.

When we put away our old self and embrace our new lives in Christ, God is pleased with us and pours into us what we need to take on each day’s challenges, opportunities and the ability to share His love with others. Take joy today in knowing our Heavenly Father loves you so much and loves when you allow your life and mind to be transformed and renewed in Him.

I love you and am praying for you today!
Dad

Ephesians 4:20-24 ERV
[20] But that way of life is nothing like what you learned when you came to know Christ. [21] I know that you heard about him, and in him you were taught the truth. Yes, the truth is in Jesus. [22] You were taught to leave your old self. This means that you must stop living the evil way you lived before. That old self gets worse and worse, because people are fooled by the evil they want to do. [23] You must be made new in your hearts and in your thinking. [24] Be that new person who was made to be like God, truly good and pleasing to him.

Titus 3:5 ERV
[5] He saved us because of his mercy, not because of any good things we did. He saved us through the washing that made us new people. He saved us by making us new through the Holy Spirit.
