Psalm 37:23 NLT
[23] The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

Good Morning!

God is masterfully at work in all of our lives to lead us and guide us and put people in our pathways. I truly believe there are no coincidences when we are walking with the integrity and uprightness of God. He tells us in Romans that He works all things together for those that love Him and are called according to His purpose. So how could anything we do be a coincidence?

Romans 8:28 NKJV
[28] And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

When I think back on all of the “happenstances” in my life of situations where God put me in someone else’s path for His greater good, it is really awesome. We all sometimes wonder if we are where we are supposed to be, or are we doing what God wants us to be doing. When that happens, we just need to take a moment and remember that God is ordering and directing our steps. When we submit to Him and are truly living the best we know how, then you become a soldier in the Army of The Lord. When we put on our battle armor each day, God prepares our day for His glory and is able to use us to touch other’s lives around us. He sets up Devine Appointments for us constantly. It is up to us to cease those God-ordained moments to touch a life that otherwise may never have the opportunity to experience God’s Grace.

There are many many examples in the Bible about how God put circumstances together for His greater good. For example, think about the story of Joseph in the Old Testament. Here’s a situation that seemed flawed and evil. But what was meant for evil, God turned into good. His brothers sold him into slavery and lied to their father and said he was dead. Meanwhile Joseph rose to power in Egypt becoming the ruler only second to the Pharaoh himself so that years later he was able to save his entire family from a famine that would have otherwise left them all for dead. Only God could have orchestrated all of that.

When God tells us in that He knows the plans He has for us in Jeremiah 29:11, that also applies to knowing the plans for those around us (I know really deep thinking here). So just let your “radar” be on and listening & watching for those God-ordained moments that give you an opportunity to speak or share or show the Love of Jesus. You very well might be the one that God uses to change someone else’s heart. That is a true “treasure in heaven.”

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
[11] For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Matthew 6:20-21 NIV
[20] But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. [21] For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

I love you and am praying for you today!
Dad
