Psalm 139:6-12 TLB
[6] This is too glorious, too wonderful to believe! [7] I can never be lost to your Spirit! I can never get away from my God! [8] If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the place of the dead, you are there. [9] If I ride the morning winds to the farthest oceans, [10] even there your hand will guide me, your strength will support me. [11] If I try to hide in the darkness, the night becomes light around me. [12] For even darkness cannot hide from God; to you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are both alike to you.

Good Morning!
Sometimes in this journey of life we feel like we are all alone. The pressures of life, the pursuit of the “American Dream,” the trying to “keep up with the Jones,” all starts to cave in around us. It is easy to only look at the physical world surrounding us and be discouraged and feel you have no one to help you through this hard time.

But God is with us in a way that no person could ever compare. God pursues us to be one of His own. As Psalm 139 tells us, there is no where that we can hide from Him and He will never leave us or forsake us.

Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV
[8] And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

When things are feeling bad and the path you are walking on feels like it is crumbling out from under you, just remember to trust in Him alone. He is our rescuer, our shepherd, the one who can enlarge the path so we do not slip and guides us to walk along the path He has set before us. He is the One who will leave the ninety-nine to rescue the one sheep that went astray and rejoices more over the one that came back to him than the ninety-nine that did not go astray.

Psalm 18:36 NKJV
[36] You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip.

Matthew 18:12-14 NKJV
[12] “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? [13] And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. [14] Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

This is the God we serve. The One who cares so deeply for us that He is not willing that even one should perish. He is for us and not against us. His promises are real, unfailing and backed by the honor of His name. His help will come to you as reliable and faithful, as He is the One who made us, the heavens and the earth.

When our hearts are overwhelmed, a simple prayer is all it takes and God will move in our lives. He will lead us to the rock that is higher than I. He will take our burdens away and be our refuge and our strength in our times of trouble.

Romans 8:31-32 NKJV
[31] What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? [32] He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Psalm 138:2 NLT
[2] I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name.

Psalm 121:2 NLT
[2] My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!

Psalm 55:22 NKJV
[22] Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Psalm 46:1 NKJV
[1] God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Psalm 61:1-2 NKJV
[1] Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. [2] From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

We serve a God that is faithful and true and mighty to save. He is our rock, our fortress, and our redeemer. Whenever you feel alone, just remember the promises that He has made to us and stand on those promises. Do not let the worries of this world overwhelm you and know that you are NEVER ALONE!

I love you and am praying for you today!
