Psalm 27:13-14 NKJV

[13] I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. [14] Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!

Good Morning!
Waiting is not something that we are good at. Especially in today’s “I need it now” mentality, we are used to getting things fast. We’ve got fast-food, overnight delivery when we order on-line, fast passes at theme parks, and reservations at restaurants, so we don’t have to wait. But God wants us to be patient and wait on Him.

In all honesty, that is pretty hard to do. Some circumstances require immediate action and we don’t have the wherewithal to wait. Sometimes we wait and we don’t see what we expected God to do for us. But we must have faith that God is still in control. He knows what is best for us. He has a plan and His timing will not be late.

Habakkuk 2:3 ERV

[3] This message is about a special time in the future. This message is about the end, and it will come true. Just be patient and wait for it. That time will come; it will not be late.

As we wait, God works in us, allowing us to draw closer to Him, increasing our faith, giving us strength and courage to continue. In these times, He gives us a fervency for Him and to go deeper in His Word. I can personally remember a time in my own life when circumstances around me in my career looked very hopeless. I didn’t know how I was going to get out of the terrible situation I was in. But God used that time to teach me to trust in Him. I cried out to Him in prayer and anguish and waited. It was not a swift answer. In fact it took several years to get the answer. But, through that circumstance, looking back now, it was a time that gave me a newfound faith in Him. He did work out my circumstance in His timing and I can now draw on that time as one that was a true answer to prayer. It is something that I do reflect on whenever new obstacles come up in my life.

God may not always answer prayers when we want Him to or in a way that we would thing is right. But He knows what is best for us and will continue to be our strong tower.

Proverbs 18:10 NKJV

[10] The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

Psalm 27:8 NKJV

[8] When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”

Philippians 1:6 NKJV

[6] being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

God has done a good work in you and will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ!
I love you and am praying for you today!
